Automated measuring complex

Altair-01 is a portable automated research program-instrumental complex of new age, placed in high covered plastic container.

It consists of PXI-chassis with inboard programmable logical controller and high-quality oscillograph.

Complex has a sliding console of control with high-resolution LCD display and has an opportunity of linking to USB-devices and Ethernet.

Power supply of the complex is carried out due to board aviation net of permanent current by voltage 28 V.

Opportunities of this complex could be extended by applying of additional modules.

Automated acoustic system

It is intended for measuring and analysis of acoustic noises during the flying, field and stand tests, during the engine rush on parking around airplane, acoustic load on outward boarding including flying time.

  • Number of measuring channels: 8
  • Scanning frequency of measuring channel: 50 000 measuring/sec
  • Frequency range of input signal: 3 Hz – 20 kHz
  • Power supply in circuit of alternating current: 220+22 V, 50 Hz or onboard accumulator
  • Nominal sensitiveness of microphones: 50 mV/PA 
  • Record of temporary realization in the form of sound files on hard disk, using it as data for analysis in laboratory conditions
  • Reflection of results in numerical and graphical form as a report with an opportunity of publication

System of communication channel testing 

System accomplishes testing of communication channels due to origination and receiving of known pseudorandom consecution with measuring of BER, spectrum analysis and diagram condition.

System consists of two program-instrumental complexes on PXI-platform, which realize functions of passing and receiving stations.

Basic functions

  • Synchronization of generator and analyzer through Ethernet
  • Addition in known pseudorandom consecution of BER
  • Independent saving of generated consecution in PIQ-file for each type of modulation and protocol
  • Independent saving of ASK, FSK, MSK, PSK, QAM, GSM, EDGE, WLAN 802.11 settings in file
  • Leading into generated signal of calibration of Gaussian
  • Leading into generated signal of attenuation and multipath
